Every device gets one of three grades: Fair, Great or Best. The grade describes two things only — how it looks, and its battery health. It never describes whether it works, because every device we sell works fully. A Fair iPhone does everything a Best one does.
Fully functional, visible scratches or wear
Visible scratches, scuffs or marks on the body or screen. Nothing that affects the display or touch, but you will see wear in normal light.
Suits: Anyone who puts a case and screen protector on anyway, and would rather put the saving toward storage.
Fully functional, minimal scratches
Light marks only, the kind you have to look for. No deep scratches, no dents, no screen damage.
Suits: The middle ground most people pick — it looks well kept without paying for near-perfect.
Fully functional, looks close to new. Still secondhand
Close to new. Minimal to no visible marks under normal light. Still second-hand, and still priced as such.
Suits: Gifts, or anyone who wants it to look untouched out of the box.
The photos on a listing are of the device you would receive, including its scratches and wear at whatever grade it is listed as. We do not use stock imagery. If a mark is visible in person, it is visible in the photos.
